Police Scotland Lochgilphead: police reports for week to 30th March 2015

Theft
Between midnight on 22 March and 6am on 23 March a wheelie bin was stolen from Low Blantyre, Inveraray. Any person with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on telephone 101.

Between midnight on 23 March and 6am on 26 March approximately 420 litres of diesel was stolen from a tractor at Croabh Haven. Any person with any information is asked to contact Constable Martin Wilson, Police Scotland on telephone 101.

Between 11am and 2pm on 28 March a mobile phone was stolen from an unlocked car parked in Main Street, Inveraray. Any person with any information is asked to contact Constable Stirling, Police Scotland on telephone 101.

Driving Offences
At 10.20am on 25 March a 19yr old male was stopped driving a tractor on the A83 near to the Newton, Inveraray. Enquiries revealed that the male was not insured and the vehicle was seized. The 19yr old male and a 72 yr old male are now subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.

At 9.30am on 25 March a 42yr old male was stopped for speeding on the A83 Newton Inveraray. He is now the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal for driving offences.

At 5.30pm on the 25 March a two vehicle road crash occurred on the A83 near to Tarbert. No persons were injured however a 55yr old male is now the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal for careless driving.

Disorder
At 2am on 28 March two males were arrested in Front Street, Inveraray after causing a disturbance. The 20 and 21yr old males are now subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal for shouting and swearing and Police Assault.

Breach of Bail
At 12.45am on 29 March an 18yr old male was arrested after Breaching his Bail conditions in Lochnell Street, Lochgilphead. He was detained in custody pending his court appearance.
